The Malerweg Trail, a beautiful 116km hike in Saxon Switzerland (albeit Saxon Switzerland is actually in Germany as we learned), just south of Dresden. The hike is incredibly well documented and you can do it in 8 day size hikes, crossing through many dreamy german towns next to the Elbe river.
It was late November, the temperature was perfect for hiking. We were marvelled by the experienced and absolutely recomend it to friends ever since.
